Preventative Maintenance Program
There’s no better way to guard against downtime and unexpected equipment breakdowns than to perform regular maintenance on your material handling equipment—before something goes wrong. Han-Tek's preventative maintenance program, performed by our experienced technicians, will keep your controls, lubrication, wearing surfaces, safety equipment, and other critical parts in top working order, minimizing unplanned outages that can cost your company valuable time.
Training Programs
On-site training heightens your operators’ expertise in using the equipment you have in your material handing system. Not only are your operators more proficient in keeping the line running smoothly and on time, they become experts in spotting issues before they become problems—saving you time and money.
Han-Tek’s experienced instructors are well equipped to train your operators and maintenance personnel on the safe and effective use and servicing of your cranes, hoists, and automation equipment. Participants receive a comprehensive presentation of the operation, controls and maintenance, and the safety procedures they must carry out to operate and maintain your equipment properly.
Before training begins, Han-Tek instructors meet with your operational, safety, and maintenance staff to review topics, discover your areas of concern, and design a training program that’s specifically tailored to your needs. Your operators and maintenance staff will gain the knowledge and comprehension they need to operate your equipment safely, and to maintain it at peak performance.
At the completion of the class, each participant receives a Training Certificate documenting their participation. You will be provided with a record of class attendance for your staffing files.
Equipment Inventory and Site Plan
An accurate record of your equipment and its location in your plant will help guide your inspection and maintenance programs, while giving you ready access to this information should you need to participate in an internal audit, external (OSHA) inspection, or disaster recovery effort. An equipment inventory and site plan allows you to identify the type, location, and capacity of all your material handling equipment quickly and with minimal effort.
Han-Tek experts develop a comprehensive inventory and site plan of your cranes, hoists, slings, chains, hooks, and other material handling equipment, including serial and model numbers, manufacturer, drawing numbers, and other related information. Equipment that may not have unique identifiers (i.e., slings, hooks, and other under hook devices) will be labeled and, where applicable, rated and/or load tested to identify the capacity of the equipment.
