MRS, Inc. Provides Critical Partnership Support in HAN-TEK's $2.5 million NY Power Authority Contract

Project worth more than $2.5 million is HAN-TEK's largest ever

(VICTOR, N.Y., July 25, 2005) — MRS (Manufacturing Representative Services) Inc. has been contracted by HAN –TEK to provide components and services for its New York Power Authority Long Sault Dam project. The dam is used to control St. Lawrence water levels for the Moses-Saunders Power Dam downstream at Massena, New York.

MRS will assist HAN-TEK in the repair and modernization of two 275-ton gantry cranes that operate a series of gates along Long Saults 2,690-foot curved dam. MRS will provide the complete electronic control system designed to govern all the motion of the gantry cranes. In addition, MRS will implement the support services necessary for final customer acceptance.

MRS partnered with HAN-TEK on an earlier $750,000 project to upgrade a twin trolley crane used to rebuild power-generating equipment at the Moses-Saunders Power Dam. In that project MRS provided site support services, mobile crane services and final load testing necessary for client-sign off.
