JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Education/Training Requirements:

 

·         Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree is preferred.

·         Minimum of five years Business to Business (B2B) outside sales experience.

·         MS Office, PowerPoint, Contact Management Software.

 

Skills:

 

·         Ability to implement Han-Tek value-based marketing strategy.

·         Knowledge of material handling and automation technologies; hardware, software, solution services.

·         Organizational, problem solving and decision making skills.

·         Professional sales methodologies.

·         Consultative solutions selling.

·         Strong written/verbal communication.

·         Self-motivated, ability to work independently, be team player.

 

Duties:

 

·         Identify and acquire new clients and partners through cold calls, referrals, seminars, trade shows, networking and prospecting new business.

·         Identify decision-makers; build strong executive relationships.

·         Develop new client relationships into loyal customers.

·         Set own appointments and time management.

·         Demonstrate successful track record for meeting or exceeding quota in assigned territory.

·         Determine client needs and communicate the value of Han-Tek solutions and capabilities as appropriate.

·         Manage major accounts from initial meeting to follow-up to closing of business.

·         Accountable for all aspects of client proposals.

·         Ability to work and lead engineering teams; have on-going communications with customers to exceed their expectations.

 

General:

 

·         Reports directly to the Vice President.
